jack lost his dad just before going to Colledge , so with him now being the man of the house started work instead. he joined the RAF and served for 8 yrs, he married young to Betty greenwood and within 24hrs of his wedding was sent abroad for 3 yrs. his passion was cars and worked his way up the ladder at Ringways (leeds) and became the manager in the panel beater / body spray section. his second passion was football (Leeds united ) he moved to Mablethorpe (Lincolnshire) for 7 yrs in 1979, of witch we all have very fond memories , me (Angie) mostly as i lived there too!. when he retired he was a taxi driver in his spare time!.he was a hard worker and most weeks worked 6 days a week to support his wife and children. he had 5 children , two of witch he sadly lost, Mandy in 2000 and John in 2001. he loved all his children, grand-children and great grand-children and was a real family man!, a gentle sole, he was a man of little words, but would do anything for you and would give you his last penny. he loved all animals most of all his staffi penny who sadly died a few yrs back. im sure we all have some great memories that we will treasure always.
